Glimmer + Crashing

The Wormhole Cult presents a night of beautiful noise, distortion and escape.

Emerging from Brooklyn’s fertile shoegaze underground, Glimmer blends crushing walls of fuzz with dreamlike melodies, creating a sound that floats somewhere between grunge, shoegaze and dream pop. Is it ‘grungegaze’? Their songs balance raw emotional weight with moments of euphoric lift, proving that heaviness and beauty can occupy the same space. Recent releases have established the band as one of the most exciting new names in the current wave of guitar music.

Joining them is Crashing, one of the Netherlands’ most promising new shoegaze acts. Drawing inspiration from genre-defining bands like My Bloody Valentine and Dinosaur Jr., Crashing delivers a dense barrage of reverb-drenched guitars, soaring hooks and overwhelming volume. Their live shows are immersive, physical experiences where noise becomes atmosphere and songs hit with full force.

Together, these two bands occupy different ends of the same spectrum: one drifting through hazy dreamscapes, the other pushing directly into the red. The result is a night dedicated to the transformative power of loud guitars, blurred edges and altered states.

No nostalgia.
No algorithms.
Just a temporary portal beyond the ordinary.
